Every one wants to have a healthy and glowing skin. Men and women do everything to keep their skin healthy and glowing. One can come across several reasons why skin becomes unhealthy. One of the reasons is unhealthy diet. A healthy diet means a healthy skin. A god food helps in brining the glow and maintaining the texture of the skin.
A healthy food means a diet that contains the right amount of protein, vitamins, fiber, fatty acids, amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, carbohydrates, fats and other nutrients.
A healthy food means that include fruits, seeds, whole grains, nuts, vegetables, milk fats and oils. The nutrients that come with these gives the skin a glowing impact. When talking of skin health, the role of antioxidants is very important. The antioxidants fight the radicals, thus removing the dead cells and giving a new charm to the skin. Blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries, black grapes and acai berry are considered to be powerhouses of antioxidants.
It is also known that Vitamin E helps in the fighting of free radicals. This vitamin also prevents the formation of lipofuscin. Sunflower oil and rapeseed oil are rich in Vitamin E.
Apart from the Vitamin E, other vitamins like A and B2 are also needed for the smoothness of the skin. The skin becomes dry if there is a lack of vitamin A and cracks appear if here is a lack of Vitamin B12. Animal liver, milk, cod liver oil, butter, eggs and fruits are rich in Vitamin A. Vitamin B2 is present in animal liver, milk and eggs.
Iron is alos an important element needed. You should also include food that is rich in collagen and elastin for keeping a charming skin. Pig skin, animal tendon and trotter are rich in collagen and elastin.
